Why we built this site
Canasta and Hand and Foot are wonderful games, but the rules can feel like a lot the first few times you play — wild cards, red threes, melds, books, and scoring all at once. We created Canasta Rules to be the clear, reliable guide we wished we’d had when learning: every rule explained step by step, in plain English, and laid out in large, easy-to-read type so the whole table can follow along.
